I can't believe it was just a year ago that I did Tracy & Byron's wedding. Now they have the cutest little guy and he couldn't be happier than to be sealed to his parents forever in the LDS temple. I had the privilege of taking a few pictures of the happy family. Congrats you guys! And I LOVE that you were able to wear your wedding dress after having a baby. You go, girl!

This year has been big for many reasons both in my business and in my personal life. I have grown, and am still growing. I hope to learn even more as I continue my journey. It IS a journey! You can never learn all you need to know about photography. Styles are always changing. I'm constantly learning what works and what doesn't and I feel like I've only skimmed the surface!
I was going to do my Top 10 Favs but it was TOO HARD to narrow it down! So there are 15 of my favs and in no particular order. I just love what I do and can't wait to see what 2012 brings!

I had to include one from the studio lighting workshop I went to. It's such a different way of photographing!

A Little Late...

I forgot that I didn't share this picture for our Christmas card this year. The holidays were CRA-A-AZY!!
I had this image in my head as soon as we found out we were having a boy. I was so excited to make it come to life. Here are my cute kiddos:

And the card I made. My husband wanted close-ups of the kids' faces. I just wanted one picture. I guess he won. I guess we know who wears the pants in the family. ;)

This year has brought so many blessings as well as a few trials. But I am so grateful for a beautiful family that I adore. I love what I do and have loved seeing some of you time and time again. Gosh it's such a busy time right now! But not as busy as this Momma! All I have to say is 7 kids. Wow. I don't think I could do that. Ever. And 5 of them are boys. Double wow. I will say that they were all VERY well behaved. We did get some great family portraits but we also had some fun!

Here's the follow-up to that sneak peek I put up. I meant to post sooner but then Thanksgiving got in the way. :) We stayed home a lot and relaxed. It was great!
Anyway, I love it when Seniors bring props and he didn't disappoint! His family came all the way from Nevada for me to do his pictures. The day wasn't the best but it was our only option...so it snowed off and on. Even though it was cold, Trent was in his element. :)

It's never too late (or early) to schedule Senior sessions. We always have a fun time! I was cold and soaked at the end of this, but it's all good! Especially because this was my first session back from Maternity leave. It felt SO GOOD to get out again!

So I'm getting back into the swing of things after having the baby. I'm actually all booked out until the end of the year (mostly because I'm cutting back so I don't totally loose it!) and will be posting some sessions I've done recently. Life is already getting back to normal and busy, busy!
This session is my cute daughter, Cambree. She turned 6 right after I had Easton so it was nice to get out with just her and play!

She wanted me to get rid of those spots on her nose. What?? No way! Those are your cute freckles! I think she watches me edit too much...ugh.

Easton's First Photo Shoot

Hello? Hello? Is anybody still out there? So sorry I've been MIA completely!! I had my baby about a month ago and I had a few complications but everything's good now. I've been wanting to post these forever! Easton doesn't even look like this anymore. He's growing so fast! And I know everyone says that but it's true! He has almost grown out of some of his clothes already. We all love him though and can't get enough of him!
Anyway, on to the pictures! Since some things were going on, I didn't take these as early as I would've liked. He was 12 days old and I like to do them around 6-10 days. I had to do 3 separate shoots and I still didn't get all the shots I wanted! Newborns I feel like need to be asleep because it captures the newness and he just wouldn't stay asleep! It didn't help that he hated being naked.

I wanted to try something new here without the posing and the backdrop. That's what you can do when it's your own!

I loved this series. I should've posted more. He just always had such a cute look on his face!

With a name like Easton, you have to take some sport pictures! And my husband played baseball for BYU so maybe it's a tribute to him?

Thanks for your wonderful comments! I'm still trying to adjust to 4 kids! It's not sitting so well with me yet. I am booked for the rest of the year, but I'm taking bookings for 2012! Crazy! Time is flying!

Oh, and here's another reason I like newborns asleep...crossed eyes!!

When my kids get to be teenagers I want them to be just like these kids. They were all so happy and easy-going. Just great kids that you want your kids to be friends with. They are so close and love to be around each other. At least that's the vibe I got! They are such a fun family. We could've spent all day together! It was hard to stop!

These girls were full of ideas. I love this!

Isn't this so sweet? It feels so genuine to me.

That's the end for now! Whew! Glad I got caught up! I'm on Maternity leave so I will probably checking in every now and then to show off the new addition to our family. Until then, book your shoots for November and December. They will go fast!

Baby Blessing ~ Spencer

While I was down in Arizona with family, my sister wanted me to take a few pictures of my new nephew, Spencer. He was getting blessed and we didn't have much time before church started, but we got some cute smiley ones of the little guy.

We also did a quick family picture while at our family reunion. Rob needed it for his Orthodontic office down in Prescott, AZ. So if you're down that way and need braces, he is the way to go!

As soon as I saw what these guys were wearing I was excited! I love the bright blue, green and orange! I knew it would pop in the location we were going. Great job, Autumn! These boys sure kept me on my toes! One 3 year old and one 2 year old...we definitely had to pull out all the stops! Dad even came prepared with big circles to have them stand on...but it didn't work. You just never know with kids!

Oh boy. 2 Year Olds are not the most cooperative, especially when it's your own child. She didn't like to sit on the chair. She didn't want my candy. She didn't want to sing or clap. She didn't really want to even look at me. She did dance though and that was probably the best frames I got. But she's mine and I love all of her pictures. They certainly capture her darling personality!

I love her scowl. Ha ha!

Love this little one and her cute chubb! Her eyes are gorgeous too! She wasn't as into smashing the cake as we all thought she would be. It took her a while to actually dig in. It's always fun to do these shoots and see what they will do.

It's always fun to do pictures for family...you can be a little more yourself and relaxed. ;) These guys always smile easy and are great to work with. I have such cute nieces and nephews!

Justus isn't quite 4 yet, but we did his pictures anyway since his birthday is right after my baby is born.

We found a dock and a boat that the owner let us use. I love the blue boat with his eyes!

The lady even let us borrow her fishing pole!

We also got a few of Annie since she's a big 1 year old now! I'll be posting her Birthday Cake smashing a little later!

I just LOVE those rolly-polly arms!

Most of the families wanted individual family pictures too.

Wow. I've known Stacia for a LONG time! Since middle school. It was SO great to see her again and her little family. Her kids are so cute and well-behaved. They didn't run me ragged! She also picked one of my favorite locations to shoot at. It's just my style!

Little Halle. She has the prettiest blue eyes and such cute chubby cheeks! Too bad she just wouldn't smile for me or the rest of her family. It was pretty funny seeing all of us trying to get her to smile. We sang songs, had treats, made faces, etc. Oh well. You win some, you loose some. I think her pictures are cute anyway. Her mom did a great job stylizing her outfits too. I think she's loving having a girl finally!

A few weeks ago, we had a little Davis reunion for my side of the family down near Zion's National Park. This is the first time since 2008 that we've all been together, so my mother insisted on a family picture. Luckily, we were staying in a nice cabin so we could get ready. After a bunch of whining and griping about what to wear and accessories and me putting my foot down, we got this picture:

Geez! That wasn't so hard now was it? And we were so lucky to get the lighting just right and getting a sunburst in the frame. We also had to use a remote to take the picture. The grandkids did great!

Then, we needed a grandkid picture. This was a little more difficult for some reason, but there was a lot of entertainment going on behind me!

And last but not least...my parents. They have raised such a good family. They are great examples to me. I hope my family turns out like theirs. We had such a fun time being together that weekend. Can't wait til next time!

This handsome young man is getting baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints soon so we went out and took a few pictures. His mom brought a Book of Mormon which was a perfect prop. I knew the perfect spot with the Timpanogas Temple in the background. What a cute little guy.

This little guy made me get more excited for our little boy...coming in about 2 months!! Ahh!! He was a little older than the 10 day mark that I like to take pictures at so he was awake for a lot of the pictures, but he wasn't too squirmy and held most of the poses. Autumn is such a laid-back mommy to 2 other high energy boys. She didn't mind at all getting pooped on and peed on. It sure paid off! You guys have a beautiful baby (and an awesome yard for pictures!). Congratulations!

I love doing shoots for Seniors. Senior guys are really fun to do. They usually have a prop or something in mind. I love that Tommy fixed up this Bronco with his dad. He LOVES his Bronco and I love it too and was happy he wanted it in his pictures! Cars are such a big part of the High School scene and I love incorporating them into my photography. Give me some rust and I'm in love!

His mom thinks he looks just like his Grandpa especially with the hat, so we played a little with that. :)

I'm FINALLY posting my sister's wedding! I've been so busy enjoying summer and family and shooting. I can't believe the summer is half over already!
Anyway, Tiff's wedding was beautiful. She looked beautiful. David looked nervous. ;) It all went very smoothly. They have so many family and friends that love them. It was a good time for everyone. So without further ado, here are the pictures! Sorry so many of them...it's my sis!

I LOVE to do bridals! How can you go wrong with in-love couples and a gorgeous bride! The groom did NOT want to see Aubrie until she walked down the isle...so we had to be a bit creative. I think it worked out nicely! He seriously didn't even see her in her dress. Now that's discipline! I wish I could've done their wedding, especially since I've known Aubrie since she was like 12...but I was on vacation. I'm sure it was lovely. You two are a perfect match and I'm so happy for you!

So this is Brynlee...a different Brynlee, not my Brinley. :) She's definitely an independent 2 Year Old that just wanted to do what she wanted to do! We tried picking flowers, playing with her doll, singing songs, playing peek-a-boo, etc. It was a workout for me and her mom! But we did it! We captured her personality and got plenty of good ones. I'm not gonna lie, 2 Year Olds are probably the hardest sessions, but they sure are fun to see what we get! She is a cutie with the biggest, blue eyes! She does have a thing with her tongue... :)

Just FYI, I'm having my baby at the end of September so I will be taking maternity leave during September and October. I'm sure my family sessions will be booking up quickly for the holidays so book now so you'll be sure to get a spot!

Here are these handsome boys again! I get the chance to do them every 6 months or so. Austin was so well-behaved for just turning one. I thought I'd be crawling after him the whole session. Sean LOVES sports so we had to incorporate at least one piece of sporting equipment in each shot. I love it! I think Austin will be following in his footsteps. It sure makes me excited to get a BOY!

I just have to show off these beautiful pictures of my daughter, Brinley, and her good friend Brooklyn. They just turned 8 and in the LDS church, you get baptized and become a member of the church. They looked so beautiful in their white dresses and we decided to just do their shoot together. The setting was gorgeous, the light was gorgeous, and these girls just glowed with excitement at their new start.

Brinley came up with this pose herself. She had LOTS of ideas! Love this girl!

They wanted some pictures together. I LOVE this one!

I think I've lost track of how many shoots I've done for this cute family. They are so well-mannered and we always get beautiful images. I love their coordinating outfits. We wanted a spring look and loved how the flowers were all in bloom!
Oh, and our family will be looking like their family pretty soon. We found out we're having a boy! So 3 girls and a boy. Pretty perfect!

Not my usual edit, but I wanted a vintage look for this even though Landon looks like he's being attacked!

Abby is turning 8 and needed pictures for her baptism. In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, you don't get baptized until you're 8. She's a tricky one but she has a gorgeous smile AND straight teeth! What 8 YO has straight teeth?

I'm pretty behind on posting shoots. Hopefully I'll be posting a lot in the next few days. :) We'll see about that...

Meet Jacquel. She is one awesome, confident, fun-loving, beautiful girl! She was making me laugh so much! We had a good time. She's a Senior this year and has wonderful things ahead of her. We had lots of fun with all the props and ideas she had. It was hard to stop!

She's learning the guitar. I LOVE guitars in pictures!

Uh-huh. B-ball player...gotta love those shoes too!

She also really LOVES her car. Her mom said she acts like it's a Porshe or something. I love old beat-up cars. Totally reminds me of High School!

She's also into drama and singing. I was diggin' her microphone.

Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful baby girl. She was in the NICU for a little while and was 6 weeks old before I could take pictures of her. I was nervous about her being so old, but she was so sweet and slept most of the time. She was great! She even smiled a little. :)
She's their first child and the first grandbaby. She sure will be loved!

The wedding has already come and gone and I'm finally posting their groomals. It didn't help that we did them the day BEFORE the wedding. Scheduling conflicts and the snowy weather made it difficult, but we did it! It was still cold and windy and almost noon, but they worked it OUT! She brought all sorts of ideas for poses so we had some fun! LOADS of pictures here! Sorry...it's my baby sis!

Sandy feet never hurt anybody (or a wedding dress!)...I love it!

I had no qualms about asking my sister to do things and she was up for ANYTHING! She climbed this rock in her dress with little help from the fiance. :)

Every year I have the privilege to photograph my friend's beautiful kids. She's been with me since the very beginning of my photography journey and has always been so supportive and given me confidence. But it really is easy to take good pictures when her kids are so photogenic! Nicole has a friend with this awesome yard. It's a goldmine and I hope to go back!
I will have to say that this is the first time Aubrey has really cooperated for us and it worked out quite well I'd have to say. :) She's a sweetie.

Jonathan & Lacey's Wedding | Utah Photographer

It had been raining or snowing all week, EXCEPT on the day of Lacey & Jonathan's wedding. The sun was out and it was almost warm! Pretty much that was the case for the day of their reception a week later. They need to get married everyday! ;)

Lacey & Jonathan make such a perfect couple. They are both carefree and fun pulling faces whenever possible. You guys are great! Being married is hard work and so much fun. You both have a great life ahead of you.

Lacey had this idea and I love it!

I can't resist a good jumping picture and they were the perfect, fun-loving couple to pull it off!

Tracie came with me to 2nd shoot. She does GREAT detail shots. You're awesome, Tracie!

This family was so much fun! They were up for whatever I asked them to do and also had some ideas of their own. :)

It was a beautiful day. I am so happy for the both of you. You will have a wonderful life together. I was grateful to be there on this special day(s).

I'm such a slacker!! Yeah, things are busy around here...not to mention my back went out. Ugh. My sister gets married this week and life is just busy! I sure hope it calms down soon.

Photo Lighting Workshop

I was really excited to go to this Lighting Workshop. I've never worked with real lights before and I wanted to see how it's done and what it's like. It was so much fun! I had a blast working with the models...they sure know what they're doing!
This definitely isn't my style of shooting (I prefer being outdoors with natural light) but it was fun to try something new!
So a bunch of different photographers came and set up different lighting stations. One guy set up rain! It was a-mazing! Except I felt bad for the models. They got cold and wet fast!

I love the splash captured on her arm!

He looked like Edward from Twilight!

These two pictures were more my style with natural light.

I loved the light grid that showed up in his sunglasses.

So I learned a lot and had to change my whole style of shooting but it was fun and I can't wait to go back next year!

My baby sister...I can't believe she's getting married and that will be all of us off and married and into the real world! We are so happy she found herself a great guy and happily welcome David into the family!
They are both so tall! I don't think I've ever photographed such a tall couple...especially in her hot pink pumps! I was so excited when Tiffany told me she wanted to do some shots in a vintage theme! So I brought some of my suitcases and they dressed the part. It was fabulous! Despite the crazy wind causing crazy hair, we had a great time! I just wish I had more siblings getting married! I love ~~making~~ having them do what I want. ;)

Lacey & Jonathan~Groomals | Utah Photographer

I was so excited this couple had a connection to Thanksgiving Point for their groomals!! We had the place to ourselves and a golf cart to boot! They had a hard time getting there being stuck in traffic so we were constantly worried about the light leaving us without enough shots, BUT I think they got enough! It was hard narrowing them down! Gorgeous couple and gorgeous place and gorgeous lighting...perfect.
They are such a sweet couple. He was constantly changing her shoes for her...it was kind of wet and muddy. Lots of snuggling because it was a little cold especially when the sun went down. But I had a great time and can't wait to do their wedding in a few short weeks!

She's a major Disney fan and had some Mickey gloves and hats. I love it!!

52 Week Challenge-Week 8 & 9

Yeah, falling behind again in posting these challenges. At least I'm doing them! I'm so proud I haven't missed a week yet. :) It's fun to be challenged
Week 8 was The View from Here. I thought there really isn't a better view than what I see everyday, even if they are crying or bored. This for sure is not a perfect shot. I really didn't think it would be that hard to get them all looking up and in close but it was hard. It didn't help that I wanted Sadie crying so that raises frustration levels up quite a bit!

Week 9's theme is Express Yourself. I just got back from this shoot and thought, this would be perfect for the theme this week. The bride is a huge Disney fan and brought a few props along to incorporate them into the shoot. I love it when clients do that! It really makes the shoot their own. They were a fun couple and we had a blast!

Annie - 6 Months Old | Utah Photographer

This is my cute niece, Annie. She has sure changed a lot since her newborn pictures! We used some of the same props and its fun to see how much she's grown. Annie is one of the chubbiest babies I've ever seen! I couldn't get enough of her chubby arms, hands, and feet. Isn't she sweet? I love those eyes too!
Have I told you how much I LOVE shooting 6 Month Olds? They are so cute. They smile. They can sit up. But best of all, they don't move! It's lovely!

I mean, really? Check out that chubb?!!


Is that 4 rolls on each arm? I love it!

Valentine's Day & Week 7

We had a nice, laid-back Valentine's Day around here...my hubby and I actually went out on the weekend, so that was nice to get out. But yesterday, the girls came home from school talking excitedly about their parties at school and bringing home loads of Valentines and treats. The theme for this week's 52 Week Challenge was Open Your Heart. Cambree just got home from her Valentine's Party at Preschool and quite literally was opening her heart. :) She also LOVED writing her Valentines this year and giving some of her love to her friends. Spread the love.

I just HAD to include this picture too. As a family, we gave each other Valentines starting at the beginning of the month. They could be anonymous or not. I believe my 7 YO wrote this and I'd have to agree. :) I think we need to make this a tradition!

It reads: "You are a mach better driver then Dad! Love ?"

52 Week Challenge-Week 5 & 6

I guess I'm bad at posting just one picture. For some reason I feel like I have to do more than one...or something...maybe I'm just bad at posting.
Well, last week my baby was sick with RSV so I barely made the deadline for the challenge. The topic was My Muse. Well, my kids are definitely my muse. If I'm not thinking photography, I'm thinking about them. I've always wanted to try a shot like this and the only way to get my 1YO to hold still was to give her fruit snacks. Worked like a charm. And sorry for the messy house...we were dealing with sickness so that's my excuse. :)

This week's challenge was Words. Well it snowed. Blah. And I thought I would rather be drawing in sand on a beach but this will have to do. So in honor of Valentine's Day coming up, show me some:

Byron & Tracy's Wedding | Utah Photographer

The day finally arrived. It was a cold, blustery, blizzard of a day too, but that didn't dampen the spirits of these 2 love birds. They couldn't keep their eyes off each other the whole day, as it should be.
The wedding and reception were beautiful yet simple. The real highlight was when Byron surprised Tracy with a song he wrote that he sang to her. Everyone was silent as we all listened to him serenade her. It was such a good song and should be on the radio!
Thank you, Byron and Tracy, for letting me in on this part of your lives. You guys will be so happy!

As they were leaving in their truck, it couldn't make it up the icy hill! It was SO cold and snowy, they had to be pulled up! Good times!

Well, this is just how January went. My baby is sick. So sad when the little ones get sick.

I also used this photo for the 52 week challenge...soothing repetition. She just woke up from a nap. Naptime is definitely soothing for me!

The Grandkids | Utah Photographer

Boys...having 3 girls I hardly understand them. They have so much energy and had me laughing a lot, that's for sure! These guys wanted (or more like their parents) a nice picture to give to their grandma for Christmas. They came from a few states to get together for Christmas and we were so happy that the weather worked with us to do a shoot on the one day we could do it. Love it when that happens!

Six months old is the best age! They are cute as can be, chubby, smiley, they can usually sit up, but best of all, they don't go anywhere! I did Landon's Newborn pictures and was just as excited to do his 6 month ones. What a cutie-pie!

I loved this picture right when I saw it! He looks like he's so sick of being dressed up. I'm sure there will be plenty more of this face with 3 sisters!

52 Week Challenge

Whoops! I forgot to post my picture from last week. No, I haven't fallen off the bandwagon yet!
Last week's theme was a song title. Pretty fun! So this was mine: Chasing Pavements by Adele (LOVE that song)

This week's is Shades of Grey. Yesterday we went to the Bird Aviary since my husband had the day off. The girls had a blast! This little guy wouldn't leave us alone. Sadie wanted to touch him so bad! I was afraid he would bite. He was many shades of grey and made me think of this challenge.

Back on board with the i Heart Faces contest. This week was our best smile picture. I thought of my beautiful sister-in-law and isn't it even better that it's at the beach??!! I'm so over this COLD weather! I just love how in-love she looks after 10 years of marriage! Yeah!

Byron & Tracy's Bridals | Utah Photographer

I'm SO glad Tracy decided to do her bridals before the weather got too cold and that she wanted Byron in them! Her wedding day was a BLIZZARD!! It would've been impossible to do them that day and to get such great results. They are such a beautiful couple and were up for whatever I wanted...which is always nice. :)
Tracy wanted to have Byron's reaction to her in her wedding dress on camera. So we set it up to have him turn around and see her...this was a shot I got from that. He said he almost shed a tear. ALMOST!

You are gorgeous, girl.

I'm in love with this picture! How perfect are their initials carved into the tree? No! We didn't do it, but Photoshop just MIGHT have helped a little. :)

52 Week Challenge

It's a new year and new resolutions. I've tried the 365 Challenge and it just didn't happen for me. I like the idea of the 52 Week Challenge. I can handle that...one a week...hopefully! I'm joining Jodi from MCP Actions to do this. The topic this week is "Something Around the House"...or whatever else you want to do. I wanted to do this challenge with my macro lens, which is rarely used and water. I've wanted to get the water droplet picture for a long time. It was a little hard with my 5YO going crazy dropping the water, but I think I got a good one. :)

A New Year

Ahh...a new year. Out with the old, in with the new. I love a fresh start and can't wait for the fun things coming this year. I started officially doing weddings this year so we'll see what's to come this year!

I'm feel so privileged to photograph their upcoming wedding. I've known Tracy since she was a baby. I'm BFF with her older sister so I was ecstatic when they asked me to shoot their wedding since I know the family so well. It's going to be great! And for the little bit that I've met Byron he's a great guy. And you can tell by the way he looks at Tracy that he loves her deeply. You guys are gorgeous! Just a little more than a week away!

Can I just say what an awesome family this is? A few months ago, they got news of their mom having breast cancer. It's been a rough few months for these SIX kids and their dad while their mom (rough for her too!) has had to have chemo. I can't even imagine how hard/awful that must be. But, they all have the best attitude about it...mostly because their mother has been such a good example to them. She has taken whatever has come her way with such a determined and happy attitude. She has embraced it...even having a hair shaving party. :) They are such a fun and loving family. Everybody wants to help them somehow and I was no different. I'm sure their family has become closer and stronger through this trail.
You all are amazing! And THANK YOU for letting me have the privilege of documenting this stage in your lives right now. You are a great example to me too. Love you guys! You're beautiful, DeLayne.

Still posting family sessions...still a little behind. :)
This family was pretty darn fun to work with. I had my work cut out for me photographing 5 kids (and the little one we found out later was sick! poor thing!). Luckily I had Shawn there with me coming up with whatever he could to get the kids to laugh. A fake spider on my head does wonders! Everyone was so fun and easy-going. We had a great time. The kids did really well considering it was cold. I LOVE the tractor one! The littlest boy also did. Look at his big grin.

Told ya we had some fun...maybe it was just the adults??? :)

It's about time we interrupt all these family shoots with some baby sweetness! This is smiley-boy Austin again. He's 6 months old now, so it was time for a little mini-shoot. The day we scheduled it was really cloudy and we were doing an indoor shoot, which is very hard being a natural light photographer! I was a little worried, but it all worked out just fine. And we've even got the smiles to prove it!

Hello? Hello? Is this thing on? I've been MIA lately, haven't I? The holidays are already getting crazy! I should be posting a few sessions here within the next few days so keep checking back. Then hopefully I'll have a nice break for Christmas and spend time with the family.
This family came from out-of-town and we really had a limited amount of time to do a shoot, but it all worked out...thanks to the buildings providing some shade since it was almost noon! Yikes! The pressure was on. Good think they were all so easy-going and relaxed. We had a great time. Megan kept asking me if I was going to put this on my blog and she would be on the internet. So, here ya go Megan!

This family has quickly become one of my best clients. Its always so fun to see them again and again. Their oldest son shaved his head for Halloween (he was dressing up as the boy on "The Last Airbender) and we took these on Halloween (well, the day before since Halloween was on a Sunday this year). His mom is so easy-going and was fine with it. We're documenting the family as they are at that moment and that's what they are! The baby was so smiley and cute! I'll be taking his 6 month old pictures soon...hopefully he'll still be smiley. Cute family.

He can't sit up yet but I love him laying in the leaves.

This one is one of my favorites. I love his cute face wondering what's going on?!!

Another i Heart Faces Entry. I couldn't pass this one up either. I took this picture with my film camera when I was still learning all the tricks of photography. This was my husband and my, then 6 month old baby (who is now 5). I was SO happy with how it turned out. It's still displayed in a frame in my house. :)

Halloween...a little LATE!

I hardly ever have anyone ask me to take pictures of their kids in their costumes so this was a lot of fun! I love to see the kids all dressed up. Some people are sure creative! There was a girl dressed up as Jelly Bellies (in a package) that came trick-or-treating to my door. So cute!
Anyway, these kids are sure fun and I always love taking their picture. Love the baby monkey! He's only 5 months and he stood/leaned for a few seconds.

I love this one. Her expression is so cute. Her mom came up with this pose and it's so cute for this little bumble bee!

Hope everyone had a happy and safe Halloween!! Sorry I'm a little late posting. We were hit with the flu bug last week. :)

Nothing but love for this family. We've been friends for years. Usually Colin, the husband, is whining about having to have his picture taken, but not this time! I don't know what it is with the husbands lately but they're all joking around and having a good time getting their pictures done instead of complaining. He would probably kill me if I posted some of the bloopers. But that's when I get the genuine smiles. Love it! And I'm lovin' these fall colors!

This family is one of my best clients. I've taken their picture several times now. I certainly don't mind! They're such a beautiful family. Three beautiful girls and one boy...we hope to follow that pattern some day... :)

This friendly horse wanted to be in the picture too. No one minded a bit!

Between the crying, nursing, and spit-up, we couldn't ever get a good one of Landon. So we did it a few days later and he was all smiles.

Cambree Bambree

Every year for my kids' birthdays, we go out and do a photo shoot. I had an idea in mind for Cambree's but was getting frustrated with finding time to do it! So while Brinley was at dance class, I took Sadie and Cambree up to the canyon to shoot. It was quite the show hauling 2 strollers up the trail, one for Cambree and one with Sadie in it. :)
Yeah, this stroller is my neighbor's and when I saw it I knew I wanted it for Cambree's shoot. She was so excited too and we put a baby doll in it. Whenever I told her to talk to the baby, she'd get all excited and talk to her so cute. I loved it! She my little Miss Personality...if you can't tell. :)

An old lady was walking her dog and of course Cambree wanted to pet it. Then the lady asked if we'd like to have a picture with the dog. Cambree was all about that!

I love this one. This is what she does all the time with her tongue. She has a cute little lisp too.

Thanks so much for looking! I just don't know how to cut down the pictures when its my own. Thanks for all the nice comments.

She's my best customer...maybe cuz she's my BFF. :) Her hubby is usually a PAIN, but he was having a good time joking around and I actually got some good pictures of him! Yeah! Sometimes the husbands are worse than the kids. The baby was teething so he wasn't very happy, but at least he wasn't crying...in these shots. :) Nicole, you've got a cute family! Love ya!
