My Sister's Wedding | Utah Photographer

Finally, I'm done editing my sister's wedding. I did take a LONG vacation after the wedding (much needed) so she cut me some slack. ;)
I wish I was a better writer to explain how perfect this day was. Mandy was so laid-back and we had PLENTY of time at the temple to take pictures. Nothing was rushed and everything was beautiful and so right. I'm so happy they were married in the LDS Salt Lake Temple. It's such a beautiful place to be. (That's where I was married so I may be biased.) Congratulations, you guys! You have so much love for each other. May you always remember this day and thank you for having me document it for you. Love ya, sis!
Get ready for picture overload...anyone that's related to me gets LOTS of pictures on my blog. I could be biased again.
Uh-huh!
My awesome friend, Tracie, was there with me again to 2nd shoot. She does such an AMAZING job! You da bomb!

And Tracie's creative angle. The tree is shaped like a heart.

Very nice.
The reception was at the Lion House so there were PLENTY of awesome photo ops. Too bad there just wasn't enough time! It was nice to have Tracie there so I wasn't stressing too much about the pictures being taken. She got all the ones of the decorations and cake so I could relax a little and visit. It actually worked out quite well!
Here's my whole family! Well, I guess my sister-in-law wasn't there cuz they just had a baby. :) I wasn't quite sure when Mandy told me her colors were red and yellow but I'm loving how vibrant they look! Of course this was Tracie's shot.
And me and my brother and sisters. 4 down 1 to go! Tiff you're next!

They had yummy snow ice which was perfect for that hot July weather!
Oh wow! How was that for pictures? Now you probably felt like you were really there. Wasn't it nice? And they went out with a bang! Really! Doesn't it look like his suit is going to catch on fire? Oh boy!

i Heart Faces Beach Photo Entry

Normally I wouldn't even have a beach photo to enter but we just got back from a vacation in Cali and we did family pictures there. So, yes, I am in this picture and my sister-in-law took it. (And she took it at a good time too with the waves and my baby's expression!) But I told her what to do and I edited it. Maybe my entry won't count cuz I didn't actually take it but I still wanted to share. There will be more pictures from this session to come hopefully soon.

My Sister's Kids | Utah Photographer

So my sister was here a few weeks ago and we just had to do a shoot! Especially since her little girl just turned 2. Oh boy. Two-year-olds are usually the hardest for me to do. Nope! She sat wherever I told her and was so happy. They are all such good kids.
Here's my sister. I told her she needed a good picture of just her. Grrr....
We can't wait to see you guys again! Love ya!

{Annie} - Newborn | Utah Photographer

Introducing...my newest niece!! It's so fun to have another girl in the family! And Sadie will have someone to play with. That's always nice. Annie was born during our family reunion in July. Luckily they stayed home or else she would've been born in Yellowstone. :)
I might have to say that she's the best newborn I've ever done. And I can say that cuz we're related. ;) She didn't want to sleep very much but she stayed still once we took the pacifier out.
My sister-in-law's sister made all her flower bows. So cute! Here she is!

My Brinley | Utah Photographer

I'm WAY late getting these edited and posted. Brinley has been 7 for almost 2 months. It's been so crazy!
Do these look a little familiar? We took her friend Brooklyn's at the same time and location. They are such good friends. They had some pretty cute ideas for poses too.
Man! I love this bus!

Capps Kids | Utah Photographer

I just met this family in December and I've already done 3 shoots for them. I surely don't mind! They are fun and easy and do whatever I tell them to. :) But I do let them pull some funny faces and jump on the trampoline if they're good too.
And, Amy, can I move in to your house? I LOVE that all this beautiful background that was just around her house!
Thanks for all your wonderful comments! :)
